2013 6 week Nutrition Clean Up Challenge
We will be starting our nutrition challenge on Monday 4th February 2013 until Sunday 17th March (6 weeks)
There will be a $10 entry fee which will all go into a prize pool for top 3 improvements.
To be eligible for the prize pool you will need to take part in the intial baseline fitness test and have before and after photos (front, back and side - men wearing shorts, ladies shorts and sports bra or fitting singlet - same for both sets of photos) and measurements. The photos will only be seen by your coaches and will not be published, unless you consent.
It is recommended that you have your photos and measurements done whether you are in to win or not. You will be so amazed at your changes in just 6 weeks!!!
The main aim is to clean up our dodgy eating habits and get leaner and perform better.
How does it work?
It's pretty simple. Decide how strict you want to be.
Level 1 - No grains or legumes (that means no rice, pasta, bread, oats, cous cous, beans, peanuts, wheat etc)
Level 2 - No grains or sugar (that means NO SUGAR! so no glucose, honey, agave, maple syrup, rice syrup, barley malt, sugar cane juice, dextrose, fruit juice, fruit juice concentrate, golden syrup, grape sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, icing sugar, maltodextrin, maltose, malt syrup, molasses, raw sugar, sucrose, treacle, and NO ALCOHOL!)
Level 3 - No grains, sugar or dairy (bye bye milk, cream, yogurt, cheese, butter, whey and casein protein powder)
There will be an information seminar on Friday 1st February @ 630pm. If this is your first challenge make every effort to attend so you get a better understanding of the science and wisdom behind this type of eating.
