At FarNorth CrossFit Kids classes, we teach various athletic skills like squatting, throwing, lifting, pushing, pulling, jumping and gymnastics. The programme focuses on making fitness training fun, with games and competition included in classes.
All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Trainers and teachers. In every class there is emphasis on improving quality of movements. When these movements can be repeated consistently and the child displays understanding of the movement, more advanced exercises are introduced.
Your kids will become well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport that they play because CrossFit Kids doesn’t coach them to be good at just one thing. Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
KIDS – 2018
Cost: $80 per child or $150 for two
Classes for Term 4 (2018) will start the week of October 22nd. THIS TERMS BLOCK WILL ONLY BE 7 WEEKS LONG. Kids classes will run from 3:45pm to 4:30pm. Classes are held Monday and Friday.
Since our daughter joined Kids’ CrossFit she has learned that fitness is fun! Ness runs classes which emphasises great functional movement – what I would consider to be old-school playground fun. Jumping, gymnastics, pulling, pushing – a combination of all those things where there’s a purpose.
Workouts are organised in a safe positive environment with obstacle courses or as fitness game play, making them more enjoyable and keeping kids active for an extended period of time.
Our girl wouldn’t miss her weekly class for anything!
