At Junior CrossFit classes we teach various athletic skills like squatting, throwing, lifting, pushing, pulling, jumping and Gymnastics. The programme focuses on making fitness training fun, with games and competition included in classes.
The High School classes include some more advanced movements and we explore some higher intensity fitness programming.
All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Trainers and teachers. In every class there is emphasis on improving quality of movements. When these movements can be repeated consistently and the child displays understanding of the movement, more advanced exercises are introduced.
Your kids will become well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport that they play because Junior CrossFit doesn’t coach them to be good at just one thing.
Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
- The Junior Class (7yrs-12yrs) will be on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00pm
- No scheduled High School class in Term 1 2013. Contact us if you have young people (13- 18yrs) who are keen to come and train
